4th of July

We had our families come to our house for BBQ and some fireworks. Rachael wanted to bring dessert look this was so cute and tasted YUMMy!

Dale purchased these fireworks in Wyoming the year before we got married... The boys wanted to do a firework show so we thought we'd pull them out. They were so crazy!! I got a little nervous.. I could see how a firework could do some serious damage.

Stella getting ready for the firework show.

I love it!

Our croquette game.

Summer...

The best part of summer.... being outside with this little girl! Doing what she loves the most playing in the kiddie pool, having popsicle or shaved ice and soaking in the sun.

Grandma Burnett has been helping out with Stella in the summer while I work. She spoils her with yummy popsicle.

She loves to splash!

I love this picture of Bug & Stella. The other night we went over to Bug & Jake's for dinner. We have never been in their backyard and wanted a tour... It was like their own little forest. I loved it so much! There was also an old swing set.

Temper Tantrum...

Stella screamed for a good 20 minutes today.. I tried everything striping her down to her diaper, letting her splash in water, giving her a sippy, giving her treats, just letting her cry in her crib, even tried calling Dale and having her talk with him... NOTHING was working!! I have had a head cold for a couple days and the screaming wasn't helping! I finally took her over to the pantry and let her pick out something to eat. Marshmallows and juice is what she wanted. I was amazed at how quick she turned it off! I think we have a little DIVA on our hands, it's a good thing she is cute!

FIREWORKS..

This year we went with our neighbor's to the fireworks. ( Latimer's, Souter's, Cases, Moser's, Strawn's, McBride's, We stayed outside the stadium and went to lay out blankets in the early morning so, we could have some good seats. (cause their was a bigger group of us going.) We went and got some dinner and then all met up. We got to the stadium I noticed a couple of our blankets ( Nicki, Stephanie and mine) and camp chair were missing.... I was very bugged that someone would steal our stuff. I still don't think I'm over it but we all were able to enjoy ourselves! I had a lot of fun & I have really grown to love our awesome neighbors!

Stella loved the fiRewoRk show!!!

We brought pops and sparklers for the kids:

The kIds in their festive Red, WhiTe & BlUe..

Stella also wanted to celebrate her independence by walking!! Wahoo... let the fun begin.

BuS..

In our neighborhood, we have weekly play days for the kids in the summer. This week we went on the LTD bus to Aggie ice cream and got some yummy ice cream. I have never seen kids get so excited!!
Stella wanted to be a big girl and sit ALL by her self. I had her on my lap at first but she saw all the other kids sitting on a bench and she thought she needed to do the same.

Will loved his ice cream!

The kids waiting for the bus. The bus driver made it so fun for the kids and joined it with us on The Wheels on the Bus ( poor people that were on it with us they probably couldn't wait to get off) It was so cute to see all the kids get so into it!

FisheR PriCe

The other day at my mom's I had a little trip down memory lane.... Growing we loved playing with the Fisher Price house and people, but we didn't just have house we had the airport, the park with the swing & merry go round. I remember playing with these for hours as little girls. I love that my mom has kept A LOT of the toys that we used to play with. Stella seemed to keep herself pretty entertained... especially with grandma right there playing with her. Thanks Mom!
