We Love Sundays!!!

This is Stella's favorite holding position with Daddy!
It's the only way she likes to be held right now.

We love Sunday's at the BUrnett's!! It's the time we get to spend the whole day as a family. It has always been a little difficult with Dale's work schedule to do whatever we want without any type of planning and putting a kid in the mix makes it that much more difficult, not being able to spend the time you want because of a timely job and that sometime limits the amount of time spend with the new little one. It also just happens to be when Dale gets home in the evenings that is usually Stella's fussy time and she just cries so, it's good on Sundays Dale gets to see the cute, fun side of her. (Not that she isn't cute when she cries.)
Here is some pictures from the last couple Sundays:

Grandma and Grandpa Burnett with the little ones. Henry and Stella. They are 1 month apart, crazy that there can be that much of a difference.... Stella looks so big!

The 3 musketeers!

Dale is such a great Dad! Stella and I really enjoy spending time with you, and look forward to our Sunday adventures! THanks for working hard for us.. WE love Dad!

CONGRATS GUYS!!!
You two make a very cute couple...WE are so happy for you!!!

Jake and Alyse on their BIG day

Kate's good bye..

While Katie was here things were wedding, wedding, & wedding! (after all that is what she came out for but) I felt like we ALL needed to do something fun before she left....so, we had a little bon fire with a winnie roast and then played a little game of croquet. I will miss you Kate!!! It is funny how when a family member moves hundreds of miles away you some how love and miss them more. A bitter sweet good-bye....for now anyway!

Dale trying to get Stella to play catch...... I think we may need to hold off for a couple more years, Wishful thinking though :-)

Zucinni Bread making....

So, while Katie was here visiting we decided to be Betty Crockers and muster up something in the kitchen. Katie was given some zucinni by her in-law and rather than letting it go to waste, we made some bread. Katie inspires me to be a good cooker, I think that i'm safe to say that this is one of the thing she like and is really good at..... hopefully, one day i will learn to love cooking/baking like she and my mom do.

baking 101...

The finished product..... and it didn't explode in the oven!!!

( the last time I made zucinni bread it somehow exploded in the oven)

yummy!!!! yuMMy!!!!!

Kate's Visit

So, Katie got to fly in for Alyse's wedding.... It was the first time Stella got to meet her Auntie!! I'm really glad she got to come out for the wedding it was good to have her here and catch up, and for her to be able to see Stella in the first of the baby stage....

Here is some pictures of Kate and Stella during her visit:

This is a little crocheted stuff animal that Kate made Stella, It is an owl.
So stink'n cute, very creative!!!

Stella is really going to miss the TLC from Katie

Dan and Katie bought this Dartmouth shirt for Stella. This picture is for Dan...he wasn't able to come out for the wedding, but took a picture and want him to know that we are thinking of him and we miss him! Stella's face looks kinda scary but this is her at her finest she is queen of making faces.

Katie's one request before she left was she wanted to bath Stella. Katie you are so great with babies! I'm really going to miss your help and your company! Love you can't wait to see you.

Who Knew....

500 cupcakes..... 400 brownies..... who knew that frosting this many goodies could be so much fun!!!... For Alyse's wedding she wanted to have a candy bar with some fun colorful candies and then some cupcakes and brownies. So, we had a frosting ParTy! Thanks to our awesome neighbor lady Julie & Bug's friends for their help, could have been a disaster with out all the helping hands.
More pictures to come of how it all came together at the reception.....

Happy 1 Month!

Happy 1 month baby girl!!! It is so crazy to think how fast the month has gone by... I'm loving being a mom, things are starting getting better each day and i'm that more grateful to be a mom each day... i've learned to appreciate my mom that much more as well ( i don't think I could have ever admitted to that, being a mom really humbles you.)

Just a little something that happened the other day.... A coincidence, you decide. Dale and I were talking about how we wish we knew why she was crying, if it's foods i'm eating, what her different cries mean ....BLAH BLAH the thoughts parents have i'm sure! Well... Stella was doing her screaming for the night and i went out to get the mail inside the mailbox was a magazine ALL about what Dale and I had just been talking about. It has been a great magazine to refer back too. I love the little moments were the Lord is looking out for us!

So, my dad made me this tire swing when I was a baby and now Stella gets to use it... She loves to be outside and she loves the swing. Nothing like a handmade gift from Papee-Son!

Stella and Grandpa working outside.

She loves to swing! inside or outside...
The other day we had a special treat! We got to meet up with Dale for lunch. I couldn't pass up the opportunity, we had to get a picture with Stella and Dad in the mail truck!

Stella's first Rodeo

We were able to attend the Cache Rodeo again this year, and see Justin and Madison ride the sheep. It was Justin's last year doing it and Madison's first. They both did GREAT! Thanks for the invite to come watch you guys. Dixie came up with her kids as well, it was really good to see them too. We were able to meet up with the Darren's family, Dixie and girls and Ma and Pa Burnett and walk around and eat some food before the rodeo started.

We were a little apprehensive at first about going to the Rodeo with a new baby not knowing how she was going to act (her fussy time seems to be around the time of the rodeo) but we decided to go, I'm really glad that we did because she did awesome! She slept almost the whole way through the rodeo. Good Job little one!

Stella loves this snuggle carrier.... I think mom does too! I can hold Stella and get things done around the house. GREAT invention!
