All good things must come to an end...

We were able to meet up with the Burnett's the other day at Hyrum Dam and do a little boating for one of the last times before school started and before things started to cool off. It seemed like it had been forever since we've seen Dale's siblings and the nieces and nephews... We had a good time with the family and enjoying one anothers company. We have really enjoyed taking Stella on the boat and she has been such a good sport... We cant wait til next year when we can get back out!!

Temple...

The Ellis' clan did a temple session and sealing day with my Grandparent' in celebration of their 50th Wedding Anniversary... It was good to have some of the family be able to help do the work for the dead. My grandma is HUGE into genealogy and has been working on getting family names ready for this special day.

It has been a while since I have been back to the temple after having Stella. It was exactly what I needed.

Happy Family time!

snow cones..

I thought it would be fun to ride into Wellsville to the snow shack. I had been talking with Alyse on the phone that morning and told her to come out with her bike and join the fun! Alyse showed up, made sure the bikes were ready to go and we were off! I had a great laugh with Alyse. She made the comment it went a little like.... Cambria, you know it's always gonna be an adventure with you!! ( I just do this to my siblings so they will always have unforgettable memories with me) I will be honest that when I think of something I wanna do it right then and don't put a lot of thought into the planning part...I maybe failed to mention that we had ride on the highway for a little bit ( which I don't think Alyse was to happy about), that it was a couple miles into town and back and to be honest I totally forgot that the heat would play a bit part in our ride but it made us appreciate those snow cones even more! Thanks Alyse for being able to laugh about it and come with Stella and I.

We got Stella this bike carrier for her birthday and she LOVEs it! She is not so
much a fan of this though......

My dad said that if you teach them at a young age to wear it there won't be any problem...yeah right!! Needless to say we bagged the helmet.. we will try another time.

Smile for the camera!

Stella loves her snow cones. Nothing like one on a hot summers day!

The Best...

Dale didn't have to go into work until one last week... we took advantage of it and got my brothers and sister together and did a little boating! The water was amazing... glass most of the morning & only 2 boats the whole time!!! LOVE IT. I was even feeling good about driving the boat. ( I really don't like to do this unless I ABSOLUTELY have to, It is such a HUGE object!) We were all very spoiled with the water and were very sad when we had to come to reality and leave the Dam.

Stella loved the water so much. She loved to dip her feet in.

Bryce sporting the goggles... he wanted to see if he could see any fish
under the water.

Love these two boys!

Bryant wake boarding. He did awesome.... got up his first time even!!

50th Anniversary (part 2)

We had the privilege of heading up to Idaho Falls for my grandparents 50th Wedding Anniversary Part 2!

I admire these two very much! I have always looked up to them
and their relationship with one another.

The quilt in the background is one that my Grandma made recently... It is like a cross word puzzle, with the kids & spouses, grand children & spouses and great grand kids names.

What a good looking family.

In celebration we had yummy cake, a slide show going. Toward the end we did a little program/ skit of my grandparents life...childhood to present. It turned out super cute. Each grand kid had a couple parts and acted them out as they were being narrated. Sadly, I brought my video camera to record it but it got misplaced... I didn't find it til after we were cleaning it up.

Group hug with the cousins!

...more cousins...

It was great to hang out with family for the weekend! There is nothing like being with with family and the ones you love!

..Here is the most of family..
(there are a few missing)

BIG girl seat...

This past weekend, we spent sometime with my grandparents in Idaho Falls. Stella has always been a good baby in the car seat.... until now! It is a screaming fight to get her in the seat. I thought she would be good on the way up cause it is around her nap time so she would just sleep..Boy, was I wrong!! Once we arrive in IDaho I couldn't find a target fast enough! We had been talking about switching her car seat out and getting a forward facing (I know the recommendations have changed they need to be in a rear for 2 yrs.) so I just went ahead and did it! The ride home from Idaho was much more peaceful, with a baby in the back laughing and getting to see the outside scenery and a mom that wasn't going to pull her hair out.

Cutting back

I recently cut back my schedule at work and am lucky to work 1 day...(tuesday's). I have been wanting to do this for awhile. I was talking with a friend awhile ago and she made the comment about how kids grow so quick... and how Stella will only be small once I don't know why this hit me soo much more hard then my thought before..but thought I should do something about it. Stella she is sooo much fun right now and I don't want to miss out! I am very lucky that Dr. Skinner was willing to let me do this and that I get to be home with her more and love every day it's definitely an adventure.

ALL GIRL

I cannot believe how quick little ones catch on to the things you do. Stella has been loving my purse and wallet... the other day I went to the store and I opened it and I had no debit or credit card. Very embarrassing! So, I pulled out my old purse and wallet so she wouldn't play with mine. She loves the pile of shoes and her cell phone. We went to the store yesterday, I put her down she walked right over to the clothes pulled a shirt off the rack and put it next her her body and walked around with it in her hand. I was sooo cute! Dale says this is a sign that I shop with her tooo much! She loves shoes she will go to our closet and put on our shoes and try and walk around the house. She is definitely started to get a sassy attitude. She is saying "NO" way to much... She will sit her self on the ground and put her head down and scream and start crying really LOUD and hard.. this is something I am trying to learn to deal with but I find myself giving in so she will stop.
