Our little bUg.

The other day I was busy getting my lesson for Young Womens ready. Stella was playing with her toys and I noticed her being very quite, I went to check on her and found her like this....
Stella has found a new way of sleeping.

I recently purchased a walker for Stella she loves this thing! It gives her so much freedom to go where ever and get around on her own... I'm loving it as well because I don't have to walk with her everywhere and get warn out myself.

Crawling..

She is crawling at 8 1/2 months..... my baby isn't a baby anymore....well she is but not little, she is growing up! Dale and I were talking about how time goes so fast and how amazing it is to see Stella grow right in front of us, to see the different stages of their life and how with each stage more of their personality comes out!

SpRing Time ??

I am so ready for some different weather...maybe SPRING, to look outside and see some flowers blooming, see some green grass...just to have some color in my yard would be great!... Not to mention having some sun shine with a little warmer weather... It probably wont happen for a little while so I decided that I would give the inside of my house a spring color lift since it is not going to happen outside. I got out all my spring stuff and found a flower windmill. Stella saw this and she got so excited she was kicking her legs, started making noise I let her play with it... this entertained her forever! I am so surprised out how fast kids catch on to things I blew on the flower and it would spin she would giggle so hard then she would start doing it and she would laugh even harder..kids giggles are so contagious! It was so great I was able to get all my stuff up while Stella being entertained with the flower.

Husband of the Year!

If there is one house job I dislike it would be cleaning the toilets....and bathroom! I dread the day when bathroom cleaning comes. It just happened to be "THE DAY" I was putting it off as long as I could. I ended up getting very distracted with cleaning out the fridge (something that also needed to be done) taking advantage of when Stella is down for a nap cause this doesn't happen very often. Dale ended up coming home early that day, yes another reason not to clean the bathroom! We talk for a little bit then I went about finishing up in the kitchen I hear Dale singing loudly and wonder what he is doing I walk in to the bathroom and he is cleaning the toilet and bathroom... with his music on. I ask him what he was doing, he said he just wanted to help me out today since he is the one that probably makes the toilet unenjoyable to clean... I LOVE THIS GUY! Thanks babe for your awesome Mr Clean skills!

I just had to take a picture... I wish I could have recorded him singing it would have made the picture even better. Thanks Dale for all your help today your GREAT!

TeeTh..

Stella has finally got her first set of teeth... WAHOO! I cannot believe how long it takes for these things to come in it is quite the process....I was talking with a neighbor and we both agreed that having your little one get all their teeth at once would be awesome!!! Then you would only have to deal with the cranky, snotty nose, drooling one time and then they could get back to their normal happy self again!

Today, I attempted to take Stella into the Dr. again...I was unsuccessful getting her into her regular physician ....They told me their was only one Dr. in the office and they had no openings. They suggested I take her to Instacare because it sound like her symptoms were getting worse... I packed her in the car and took her in. The nurse took her vitals and said her weight 13 lbs... I was shocked we took her in on Tuesday and her weight was 16lbs... I couldn't believe in two days she had lost 3 lbs.. The Dr. came in and did his thing. (it just happened to be the Dr that stitched Dale up) Stella has croup, the flu bug (which I feel terrible for because she didn't get the shot because they were always out of it and I just kinda forgot and she never got it ) and a virus of some sort....BLaH! The Dr. did give her a steroid drink and let me know that it should help clear up the deep cough. He highly recommended getting her outside and have her get a little fresh air... I stopped my parents house.. Rachael took Stella from me so I could have a little break and get a little nap in. Rachael took Stella on a little walk outside they were also drawing with chalk, and blowing bubbles. Thanks Rachael & MOM for all your help this week I really appreciate it!

I really cannot wait for Spring! I hope it comes soon I am ready for sunshine and having a happy baby girl again!

SickNess!

We have been pretty lucky not to get any sickness this year, until this week. Poor little Stella has been very sick. We have been up ALL hours of the night with her for the past 2 days... (I forget how crabby/emotional I am with no sleep.) I feel so bad for this little one! I have never seen her like this and I am very much emotional! I wish that I could take her sickness away, She has a very deep cough, runny nose, fever, cannot keep food down... (I think this could be the type of formula we were giving her) I took the morning off yesterday from work to take her to the Doctors. I walked out of the Dr. office in tears they had told me that I brought her in a couple days to soon. They couldn't give me a diagnosis... they said it could range from a simple sinus infection, to beginning stages of RSV. (I was thinking this is quite the range) They let me know to watch for more symptoms meanwhile just keep flushing fluids and try to get her to eat when ever I could. I was very frustrated that night watching her be so helpless. Stella is not a big napping baby either....it scares me that she likes to sleep so much. BLAH!

If there is any positive out of Stella being sick it's that she is so snuggly with me! She has never been a snuggly baby... this has been kinda hard for Dale and I. But we will take what we can get! I love this little one so much and it is really tough to see your kid go through this kinda stuff. I wish I could take it away!

I'm grateful for Pedialyte popsicles. She loved these... I'm sure the cold was an added plus to why she liked them..this is the only thing she would attempt to have go in her mouth or eat the whole day.

HAir

Stella has found someone that LOVES to do her hair! The other day I went to pick up Stella and my mom asked if I knew that I have a beautician in the family and I was like what... She said that it's so cute Dale for the last week in a half will drop off Stella with her hair done. I asked Dale about it at first he was really hesitant at telling me and finally said that he does do it... He just doesn't like the laid down look.

So, the other day we were getting ready to go out with some friends and Dale took Stella to do her hair in the bathroom it was so cute to see. Sometimes, I'll find myself doing her hair and Dale the cute man he is will say you should do it this way or how about a bow or something... I love that he cares, most men don't! Thanks Babe for all your help with Stella.

Stella's hair is getting long enough that we can put a little ponytail on the top it's so fun! I cannot wait for her hair to get longer so we can start doing more fun stuff with it!

8 months...

Happy 8 months Stella! This little one loves to clap her hands (she is a BIG fan of patty cake), she loves music and will bob her little body up and down to the beat, she is showing no interest in crawling anymore....but she will move herself around in circles on her belly. She is wanting to constantly stand up to things. She waves to everyone when coming or leaving for somewhere. She loves eating!!! She loves her fruits and veggies. We just recently finished up the last of frozen breast milk :-( She is now doing formula....I don't know what to think of this stuff it stinks and it is sooo expensive! Luckily my cute neighbor let me know to go to a place to help get some coupons to get some $$ off for it! Stella didn't have a hard time with the transition but lately she has been throwing up a lot and kinda cranky... We recently switched to Soy sensitive formula to see if that will help... we will see! She is getting to be such a big girl. People said they grow fast but I had no idea it was this quick....makes me sad.

UDA Convention..

Every year is a Dental Convention down in Salt Lake..... Dr. Skinner really recommend that we go this year. We got up early that morning, went to classes all day long! It has been a long time since I've been in a class room setting being lectured on things... (the classes were 2-3 hr long with no breaks.)being an assistant you just aren't use to sitting that long either and your always on the go so I felt like I had a serious case of A.D.D. I ended up leaving the class a little earlier and walking around the venders and doing some ordering (i'm the ordering girl at work).

Here is our Staff.... We are just mapping out the classes... where and who will be going to what class.

The Girls at lunch....

How would you like to come to a office with this set up...

FaMiLy hOMe Evening..

This is just ONE of the many of my favorite Mormon Messages!..... these are so amazing and so inspiring. Who knew a 10 minute clip could make you feel the spirit so much! Dale and I have been trying really hard to make FHE a more regular thing at our house. It can be difficult to fit it into the the evening routine or so we think and seem to find many excuses why not to have it but..... this week we did it! I recently bought the Mormon Messages on DVD.... Dale and I have found these to be a great pick me up for the week. We also have been talking with our families about them a lot lately and thought it would be a fun FHE to do with the Burnett's. The plan was to maybe watch a couple and then have a discussion or something but we ended up watching the whole thing and letting the video speak for itself.

Crib..

I was cleaning out Stella's closet and putting away another set of the clothes that she has grown out of. I put her in her crib...to play because she was getting into everything. I sat her up so she could still see me ( she cannot sit up on her own yet.... Thanks goodness!) and started playing peek a boo with her. Stella was pretty content and so I just went about doing what I was doing and let her play with the bumper pads I heard her starting to make some noise.I look up and she is standing up in her crib.... WHAT! I guess it is time to move the mattress down. I don't think this will be a big issue until she can sit up on her own but I cannot believe it! It made me very nervous. This little one is keeping my on my toes for sure.

LAundRy

It has become a little game at our house every time Stella see's a laundry basket she will make noise and try to get to the laundry baskets. The other day I had the her laundry folded ready to put away and miss Stella scooted her way over to the basket pull her self up to it and wanted in. (Thanks to Bryce this had become quite the little game.) It makes me laugh so hard Dale will put her in and just push her around the house and she just grins and giggles the whole time. She has become quite the little character.

Grandma Burnett gave her this cute outfit.
I was looking at her baby pictures and watching her home videos last night and cannot believe how fast they grow. She is starting to say Da da .... it is so cute! It makes Dale's face light up. (Moments like that are so priceless!) She loves to play peek a boo, patty cake, and how big is Stella.... I am done working three days a week at Dr skinner's. I am glad for the chaos to be done and to get back to normal life again and that I get to be home with her one more day of the week, I love this little girl so much, she truly has been such a blessing in our home. Dale and I find it hard to imagine what life was like with out her.

SNOW

I'm beginning to wonder if the weather is ever going to warm up... I went shopping with my sisters in laws and mom the other day... seeing all the spring clothes (the fun cute colors), sandals, and swim wear (not that I'm ready to get in a swim suit, quite yet!) is really getting my ancy for SPRING and ready to start having some warmer weather! A week ago this is what we woke up too... I thought we were going to have spring come early according to the ground hog...guess not!

Dale shoveling the snow about a week or so ago.... I still cannot believe how much snow we got just in 1 snow storm..CRAZY!

The night of the storm we were at some friends playing some games, we had decided that we would just walk cause it was only a couple houses down... on the way home it was another adventure! Thanks goodness we have good neighbors that are always ready to help out with thier four wheelers when the snow comes.... maybe it's time we start think about investing in one of them :)
