hugs & kisses...

I went to get Stella out of her bed this morning. I love morning times she is always so happy! Each morning I say "Can mom have a kiss and love?" She usually scowls and hit my face but today was different, I asked preparing myself for the usual but she gave me a love and a kiss over and over.... she made me get so emotional. I am amazed by this little girl everyday! Stella is comprehending things so fast and is little miss busy. I'm understanding what the babbles mean and if I ask if she wants something she will nod her head and say Yes or No.. it's very helpful! I cannot believe that she will be one next month!!!

Fathers Day...

Happy Fathers Day!!

I have a VERY dedicated, caring, & an awesome example of hardworking for a Dad. I don't remember a time growing up where my dad didn't have some project for our family or for himself to be working on... he loves his projects! I felt so special when he would ask me to be his assistant with these projects. Thanks dad for teaching me the meaning of work! Thanks dad for sacrificing a lot for our family I hope you don't think that your hard work goes unnoticed... Thanks for the fun family trips, good laughs, playing pass with the football as we went on our Sunday walks, and most of all being my Dad!! I love you a LOT!

My father- in-law is also been a great example to me. He works, works, works..... He is the definition of HARD-WORK! He is a very humble man who loves the gospel! I love how Dale's parents refer a lot back to the gospel. I think.. I know I get so caught up in the daily things that I forget! I love the Sunday discussions we have and watching Floyd raddle off a verse or two. He know his scriptures. Thanks for raising a son who loves the gospel just the same!

Happy Fathers Day to the most special GUY in my life!!... I appreciate you sooo much! You are so good to Stella & I. You are so thoughtful, caring, kind and very hard working.. I appreciate you sacrificing your time to work so hard for our family. I love that you can always make me laugh and I'm glad that your my partner that I get to spend eternity with. Thanks for being such a good dad to Stella. I LOVE YOU !! HAppy Mans Day!!

11 months...

(People ask all the time if she smiles... yes, she does but you definitely have to catch her in the moment and very picky with whom she will give them too. Mom's not even lucky to get pictures of her smiling.)

I cannot believe one more month and my baby girl will be 1!! She is still busy as ever. She loves her baby the other day I caught her feeding her baby the sippy cup. She is taking about 6 steps. (do I count that as walking) We find her more and more trying to walk and not crawl as much. She loves being outside.... it is a screaming meme when we have to come inside. She loves to play with shoes she will get so mad when she cannot get them on her feet. She is my little buddy!! She is getting four new teeth on top.. I recently took her into the doctor and she weighed 17 lbs 9 oz. The doctor seemed a little concerned about her weight but we will talk more at her 1 year apt. She has been fighting 2 double ear infections again! Poor girl.. I swear it's never ending! She is still babbling more and more and I'm starting to make scence of things. We love at night to just lay with her and hear giggle... I LOVE this girl more and more everyday!

BBQ

On Sunday we had the Burnett's over for a BBQ and to try out the NEW patio furniture. I love summer! I love that you can have a BBQ and not heat your house, enjoy the outside weather... enjoy it even more now that we have some shade in the back with our new patio set and be hanging out with family!

BirthDay

I have the sweetest husband and a very dear friend Nicki that made my BiRthDay the best ever! I was talking with Dale earlier in the week about how I wanted to get a group together Friday night and go bowling and dinner. He agreed! We were getting ready to go on group date and I get in the car and Dale was like "Hey.. um we need to go to Nicki's...." I was like "We can just drive over there cause we were picking them up", he was like "No, we need to walk I have a present for you over there.... I was kinda getting a little ticked and not really cluing in to what was going on but WHATEVER! We walked over there and Nicki' meets me in the drive way and says "surprise".... tonight we are doing BBQ and playing couple's bunco ( I had talked with Nicki earlier in the week about how I wanted to do couples BUNCO cause I heard it was super fun with spouses) I was so excited....jumping up and down EXCITED!! The night was very fun, hanging out with friends that I really have grown to love! Thanks again Nicki & Dale for making the night so DANG fun!

26 candles!! I'm getting soo old! Dale got me an ice cream cake from ColdStone... it was very yummy! I had to laugh... Stella loved the candles.. she kept saying.. "wow". She is going to be so fun for her BiRthDay!


For my birthday we got a patio set. I love it, as Dale puts it ...."Now we can actually enjoy our backyard"..

50th Anniversary (part 1)

My Grandparents are celebrating a wonderful 50 yrs of marriage this coming August. This last weekend we went down to PRovo to celebrate part 1 of 2 parties that they will be having! I love these two special people sooo much. They both are very amazing, hard working people! LOve you guys.

5k..

Stephanie and I have been training for the last couple months to run a 5k. I am glad that I have such a great running buddy that kept me motivated and helped me through the last little bit of the race! There were two things we wanted to accomplish during the race.. to never walk and to get under 30 minutes at the finish. We did them both!!! I finished 16th overall and Stephanie 13th.

MY TIME!

My mom, sister, brother & Stella all came to cheer us on! It was so cute at the finish I look up and Stella is clapping and saying "MOM". I kinda felt like crying, it was so cute!

Memorial Day..

For Memorial Day this year we met up with the Burnett crew. We had a picnic at the park.. It a little chiller than what we had expected and was glad we dressed in layer and someone thought to bring hot chocolate it was a life savor! After lunch we went and watched Brian play an AMAZiNG soccer game! I think I am beginning to love this sport each time I go to watch a game....
