I just wanted to give a big Shout out to my BABy! I cannot believe 5yrs. what a milestone. It just seems like yesterday that we were getting married. Thanks so much for teaching me so much..... YOu have been a great example to me and my bestest friend. Thanks for your patience, scene of humor, making me laugh, your hard work and dedication. Thanks for being an awesome DAD!!! You are so great with Stella I'm glad we get to be partners in crime and that we get to raise our beautiful little girl as a team. I love you so much!! Thanks for always cheering me on and being my #1 fan in what ever i do. Supporting me in any decision. I feel so lucky and blessed to have you as my honey. I'm glad for the phase of life we are in right now and can't wait for more fun in the journey. Thanks again for being great, awesome and doing all you do for me! Thanks... I LOVE YOU!

BEing a Mom....

Being a mom.......i think i have gained a greater appreciation for my mom!!! I have learned it's not all about you anymore, there is no time table of when things need to get done, you may stay in your PJ's all day and that is ok.... you have this little angel that needs your undivided time and attention, and she is so worth it and it's the best trade off ever!!

It's crazy to think that Stella is 2 1/2 weeks old. Time goes by so quick, I think that we are finally starting to get into some type of a routine. (YEAH) I had a rough little go at first but I'm glad to say that i think things are starting to finally look better.
I had a very hard time with the breast feeding thing and was about ready to give up but i was able to meet with a great Lactation Specialist, she helped me out a ton. She said the best advise she could give me is just listen to my body you are going to know what is best for your baby. She also gave me a feeding schedule to put Stella on. (She has been sleeping through the night since 1 1/2 weeks) I went with her advise and did A LOT of praying. I seemed to get it down after i just relaxed!! (KEY To breast feeding RELAX...) during stressing out so much about breast feeding, i gave myself hives.... blah they are not fun! I went to a dermatologist and they gave me a shot to help with them it takes about 3 weeks to get the steroid out of system and they are starting to finally go away... Along with hives i have been dealing with PuPPs.

The last little bit of my pregnancy i got this rash called PUPPS it starts to show up with in the 35-39 weeks of pregnancy. It is very uncommon but it is very itchy and ANNOYING. It is where your body tries to attack the fetus. You have a greater chance of just getting it with your first but there is a chance of getting it with all and it can spread but mine was only on my belly... once again prayer and relying on the Lord is what i think got my through this too. Dale and Floyd were also able to give me a wonderful blessing. (I'm not writing this for complaining but more for my journal.)
Here is some of the firsts for Stella:

I love being read to.

First manicure. Thanks Aunt Rachael

We love to take our daily walks around the block.

She LOVES her swing

She loves tub time!!

More hospital pictures....

Don't mind this picture NOT a very good shot! Dale and baby look good not so much of me.
(Oh Well... what do you expect i just got done having a baby!)

This is the story of how sweet Stella came, I'm doing this more for memories, bare with me. It was a Tuesday, I went to work like usual, did my regular routine at home, in the evening we did our regular walk and had our bowl of ice cream to end the evening off right. It was about 11:45 pm when I woke up to what i thought was maybe my water breaking, i woke Dale up and let him know that i thought maybe it was time to go to the hospital. We grabbed our bags, drove in and checked into the hospital. The nurse took me into the room did some tests, I was still @ a 3 and 80% effaced. They said i was showing all signs of being ready, just that i wasn't dilating anymore than when i came in and Dr Horsley just happened to be the doc on call, we called him and he said that it was up to me i could stay or i could go home and see what happens, I decided to go home. FALSE ALARM!!! We left the hospital around 4:00ish, the nurses recommended that i come home and take a nice bath and try to relax ( i felt like saying... Relax.... I wish i could but the pain in a little much) We got home Dale went to bed and i took a bath, it was very relaxing at first but then it started to get worse, I tried to do YOGa breathing and walk around the house, then the pain came intense and very fast!!! I tried taking a hot shower this time to see if that would make things better... oh no it made it WORSE, i didn't want it to be another false alarm so i tried walking around the house for a while longer trying to get a little shut eye when i could and wasn't feeling pain. Then i couldn't even walk or breath i finally felt like i should wake Dale up and that maybe this could be the real thing.... Dale, once again got up and we were getting ready to leave and i felt this gush i was like crap my water just broke,i grabbed a towel and I told Dale we needed to hurry i didn't want to deliver in the car.... half way into town it happened again, I was really starting to freak out!!! We got to the hospital at 7:45 am checked in at the desk and then a really BIG gush came, i started to cry and told them i was very sorry that they would have to clean it up and she was like don't worry about it sweety, they took me into the room and checked me this time i was dilated at a 4 and 100% effaced she said we got to get thing going they got me on the IV and called the Anesthesiologist and got my epidural (THE BEST THING) and then checked and i was at an 8. She let me know that things were moving pretty quick and to rest while i could because we were going to start thing soon, I got ready to push at 12:25 am They called Dr Horsley up and by 12:50 am Stella was here. Dale, was a champ he was a fabulous coach and did a ton better than what i thought he would, he even cut the cord. Everything happened so fast, i was very surprised. (Nothing like what i had imagined.)
Stella we are so excited to have you in our little family. You bring such a sweet spirit into our home, we are glad that you are finally here..... healthy and happy!!!

Getting CloseR....

This post is my for my sister Katie...... i think it has been a rough go for all of us, her being far away and with so many changes it's kinda hard and i thought that one day i would have BABy and she would be really close and be able to help and give me all the pointers, especially since she is the expert with BABIES( this is her job) but this isn't the case... So, i'm doing this post just for you Tay so you can see what is happening before the little one comes!!! And when you are out for the wedding i'm hoping we can snag you and you can give me pointers :-)
So, this is what we have been up to:

Babies room is still a work in progress!
i'm hoping by the end of this week we can get to painting
Her car seat and stroller.

Her closet I think that we have most of what is needed, the showers that were thrown for baby were great and I think we are set all we have left to do is put the crib together and the decorating part.. (The MOSt fun)

HappY 4Th of July weeKend!!

This 4th of July seemed to be a little more crazy.... maybe it's because it was a on a Sunday and you just didn't get to Celebrate once it was all weekend long. I really had a good time nothing like BBQ, fireworks and getting to spend quality time with family and friends... Our weekend went a little something like this...

Logan fireworks were on Friday this year. We met up with my family, Dales parents and Dave and Michelle and kids. We did hogi sandwiches for dinner with some delicious fruit. Then watched the fireworks. I was really fun!!! I love the fireworks!!! (i'm so SaD i forgot my camera to take pictures of the event)

Saturday, Dale had to work. But we got up early and went to a scout breakfast and then he went to work and I hung out with the family. We had a BBQ and just hung out nothing to big but it sure was fun!!!

Monday, was the day we decided since we both were off work that we would work on the yard for a couple hours and then go do something fun... Little did we know that it would be the whole day of working in the yard. Here is just one of the few projects worked on..... (one of the biggest and most time consuming)

OUr lovely mail box.... Notice the one in the cinder blocks that is the one that is going to be retired we have used it for two years. We loved the weird looks that we would get and the jokes about Dale working for the postal service and how you would think we would have a better looking mailbox.... So, fun and games are over and we are giving in!!!! First we dug the hole making sure level.... NEXT

We needed to mix cement and pour down the hole..... NEXT

Cement in hole and making sure once again
level letting it cure for 24 hrs... ANd

..... you end up with a beautiful new mailbox that looks a little like this! So, much better than the geto one.. don't cha think? THanks family/ neighbors for the help!

Reunion 2010

This year the Burnett Bash was held up at Bear Lake!!! Darren and Ivalou were encharge this year and did a great Job. THanks! They had fun activties but also there was time just to relax which was great.... Here is just a few of the fun activties that we did while being up there....

The day at the beach. The water was very cold and the
older grandkids decided that they would make their own hot tub.

Outdoor Mini Olympics at the park.

We had a couple birthday's while at the reunion.... We threw them a little surprise party...very fun!

Dixie's side of the table very black... cause she turned the big 40!!

This was Paul's side....very colorful and Bright. BIG 39!!

My mother and sister in law's also threw me a baby shower while up at the reunion. Thanks guys for the cute gifts.

Thanks Michelle for putting together such a cute shower.

We played a couple really fun games. They spilt into groups and used magazines, trying to guess what our baby was going to look like using the magazines and then i had to guess which one i thought she would look like..... We got some really good laughs. We also played this games with bottles, we had to drink lemonade from the bottles....... IT was very hard because the hole is so dang small and the lemonade was sour, so afterward your cheeks really got a good work out! THANKS AGAIN!
