Dale's BirthDay

hAppY biRthDay!
31 years young

For Dale's birthday this year I wanted to try and be creative and make him a deer cake. Growing up and still to this day my mom has always made our cakes and they ALWAYS look so cool. I thought now that I have Stella I should start practicing so i can keep up with tradition. Dale spent almost the whole week hunting with family and a friend. He would be coming home late Saturday night. I knew that he would be exausted from the weeks worth of the hiking and he would wanna take it easy...So, i thought that i would make him a deer cake.... WOW! What a project....2 cake mixes later, a time out to clean the oven from an explosion of cake mix batter this is what i came up with.... I hope you like it babe! I hope you had an awesome day, i'm glad to have you back.

2 months!

OUr little Stella is growing so fast, it's hard to believe 2 month already! It is so crazy to me how quickly they grow up. Here are some fun little stats of where Stella is at her 2 month.....
90% for her length...23 1/2 inches
50% for her weight.....10.14
25% for her head
She started smiling at 7 weeks, and lately has been cooing a TON and smiling more. I love the mornings, I wake up to her making noises. She doesn't cry as much and has turned into a very happy baby for the most part.( People kept telling me it was a phase but i was beginning to have my doubts.)I love her so much and am glad that i get to be a mom, they bring so much joy!
She is still sleeping through the night. She'll sleep in until about 7:30.... I LOVE IT! We recently moved her to her room, I think i'm still having a hard time with the adjustment but it is super nice. I think she loves the space too, she definitely out grew the bassinet.

A Fun SurPrise!

Dale's left for a hunting adventure to Wyoming this past week. Before Dale left he said that he had a surprise and not to plan anything on the weekend before he left because he was doing something fun for me. I got super excited, I LOVE surprises! Dale had planned that Floyd and Miriam would watch Stella for us. Friday night we went down to Ogden to dinner and to do a little shopping and then Saturday morning we went on a 4 wheeler ride up left hand. Fall is coming... the leaves are already starting to change. I CAN'T WAIT.

We packed a lunch and had a picnic
We found this cool water run off

Thanks you so much for the surprise, it was good to spend some good quality time with you before your hunting trip. Thanks for taking an extra day off to spend it with me it means A LOT.

Labor Day

It was a very relaxing Labor Day this year... compared to last. We got up and had a big breakfast we invited Rachael and Chet. After breakfast we went to Founders Day's in Wellsville. My parents and brothers came out for the parade and the Sham battle.
Stella's first Parade, she slept through most of it.
After a fun day, we were soooo exhausted. Dale and Stella took a little snooze.

She has been so smilie lately I love it. I keep trying to get a picture of it, this will have to do. I think she has some dimples.

Stella's big day

Stella's was blessed September 5, 2010. Stella was blessed by Dale, he did an excellent job with the blessing., it was sooo sweet Sister Jodi Coleman wrote down much of what was said, and gave it to us after the meeting.... it was super kind of her to do. Afterward we had the Ellis' and Burnett's come over for lunch. It was a lot of fun.... it is always so nice to have family over and get to catch up. FaMilieS are truly your best Friends:-)

FiNaLLy..

BORing walls.....need a change....

We finally have the room all done.... thanks to my loving mOm and dAd! My mom knew that i really wanted to get the room done before the blessing so.....she spent a lot of her time out here to help ( i think she ended up doing most of it) She is great!! We would start to work on the room and i think Stella would knew that I really wanted to get something done, she would start to fuss, we would put her in the bouncer and she would shut right up! What kids learn so early on in life.. I think we are in for a treat :-). I had a really good time with my MoM. We had some really good laughs, I think i've said it before and i'll probably keep saying it but i have learned to love and appreciate my MoM so much more these past couple months. Thanks mOm. My dad also took sometime and came out to help us.

Amazing what a little paint can do to a room....the Finished Product
