Today we were able to attend a baby blessing for our friends. These guys adopted little Brielle 6 months ago and were finally able to bless and be sealed as a family. Casey did a great job with the blessing! They are such a cute family! On the way home Dale and I got talking about how we are glad we have the gospel and how kids do the most amazing thing for families. Dale and I are very grateful that we we get to be parents to Stella. We are amazed every day at the things she picks up on, she makes us what to be better. I love Sundays! I love that we get to spend the whole day as a family and play play play. Stella loves to do ring around the rosies and we all get a good laugh. I LOVE BEING A PARENT!
Pony Ride..
Lately, we have been reading a lot of books to Stella. She loves books! Her favorite book seems to be one about farm animals. She gets so excited when we get to the cows, horses and the dog parts. She will try to make the noises and lights up. The other day we went over to Burnett's to show Stella the animals. Stella liked looking at the cows and bunnies. Stella even got to ride Chester. At first I think she just liked looking at it and didn't want anything to do with getting on him, but then she warmed up and she had a pony ride. She looked so big. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for letting Stella ride Chester!
BED...
Stella has decided as of this week to no longer wanna sleep through the night or wanna sleep in her crib! Stella has always been a good night sleeper... and her crib has been chewed to bits! There are teeth marks ALL through out and it looks like she even bites down and drags her teeth into the wood! Needless to say Dale and I are both very exhausted. Luckily, Dale has been working at 9 this week so we can take shifts... I think as a new parent and never having done this you freak out more and wondering what to do! We fingured she was ready for the toddler bed.. we pulled out the mattress and she will sleep on that sometimes... but is she really ready for a bed? She is only 14 months. She liked the matters thing for a couple days and we are back to the beginning of being very concerned overwhelmed parents... I refuse to have her in bed with us but the other morning I came back from the gym. Stella and Dale are in bed sleeping.I had to grab the camera and snap a picture. I know in a couple year we will look back and laugh but at the moment we will be stumped parents :)

bear lake
This weekend we went over to Bear Lake for a quick little get away. Dale and Jake's birthdays are a day apart. Alyse and I had been talking about how they just need to take off work and go do something even if that something is just relaxing! So, we planned to go to Bear Lake close but not to far...We did a little swimming, took a drive around a little of the Lake, went to a park, but I think the highlight was golfing. We all went and hit a bucket of balls after that we left the boys to play golf and the girls went and did there own thing. Here is just a few of the picture from our golfing adventure:
Stella showing us how it is done!
Happy Birthday Dale..
Happy 32 years young Dale!! This year Dale had a very difficult time telling me what he wanted for his B-Day so, that meant that I had to put on my creative thinking cap and come up with something for him.... urg my brain doesn't seem to be this creative now a days!!... but this is what I came up with and we both got a very big laugh out of it.
A bread maker!!! So, I figured Dale has been teasing me for the last couple of years that I he would love if I would make homemade bread. Ummm.... to be honest this stresses me out to even think about making it! I made bread once and it exploded all over in the oven so I've been very apprehensive to ever do it again. I figure I would turn over a new me and be a good wife and start making it.. and this time if anything happens it ALL happens in the bread maker :)
I hope you had a GREAT day babe... I know Stella and I loved spending the day with you. Thanks for all you do for Stella and I. I'm so lucky to have you as my honey and love everything you do for us! LOVe You!
Willard Peak..
Doesn't this look like a fun adventure?!?! We went to the top of Willard Peak the other weekend with Rachael and Chet. We are so lucky to leave close to mountains. I think some times we take for granted what we have so close to us... or at least I do. It started to rain on us going up and most of the way coming down but it still was way fun! We got to the top and we some wildlife too which made it all the more worth it!...Thanks Chet for hooking us up with a 4 wheeler and letting us come along!
Berry Selling...
I went down the other weekend to The Murray Market to help Alyse sell her famous berries!!! I had a lot of fun helping Alyse out. I think I just loved the farmers market feeling something cause I sure had a blast!!
I know that we have a farmers Markets in Cache Valley but there was something different about Murray Market.. maybe that it was all just produce or that everyone was so friendly... I don't know but I really enjoyed my Saturday adventure. Thanks Alyse for letting me help out!
We sold three types of berries... raspberry, blackberry and blueberry.

Shoes
Stella is WAY into shoes right now.. She loves to wear our shoes around the house, hide our shoes and put them into bags. I love that it keeps her sooo entertained but it's hard when we are ready to go and we can't find them. She is so fun! She is also into organizing things she will go over to the DVD's and take them out from the shelve and put them into a pile and then will pick one up and put it away close the door and then got pick up another open the door put it away and close it.. she will do this over and over til they are all back in there place. She is my good little helper.
Labor Day
This Labor Day we spent our weekend with the Ellis Crew. Every year my Dad's family tries to get together sometime and we have a BIG Ellis Reunion.... Chad's family was in-charge and they rented a cabin in Timber Lakes. I love getting together with family! It was great being able to catch up with cousins, aunts and uncles and my grandparents.
It was nice just to go up into the mountains and just relax and do whatever. Some of the actives we did is.. The Ladies went to Swiss Days.. The men stayed home and watched the BYU game... thank goodness we won. We played lots of games! The men had a ping pong tournament... my grandpa was a good sport and even joined in!
The cabin had a Zip line that kept the kids VERY entertained. Dale and I even tried it a couple times.. It was so fun! I was great to see Stella play with the kids....She was soo happy the whole time up there I don't know what we are going to do when this weather starts getting cold she loves to be outside!!
The boys found some wood and made a fort.
Stella loved to play in the dirt. She loved to pick up the rocks and throw them and laugh and then move on to the next pebble.

I love this little girl! She is growing up so fast! I would love for time to freeze right now so I can enjoy this stage a little more:)
The Best time of day...
The best time of day for Stella, and for me. Stella will be outside playing and see Dale pulling up and she is off to meet him. I think this is so cute I love how excited she will get to see him. Dale will put the car in park... pick her up and Stella gets to help drive into the garage. There is NOTHING like the daddy daughter bond! It has been a little struggle for me the last little bit.... Dale is usually getting off at 3:00 of 4:00..but this week it has been 6:45 ish. I think we are both very glad to see his face by the end of the day! I think he is very glad to see us too. Thanks Babe for all your hard work!
